Bartholin cyst: What you describe suggest a cyst of the Bartholin gland or an abscess at the site. It would be prudent to see your doctor. You may visit this site for information: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bartholin-cyst/symptoms-causes/syc-20369976 Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Need an exam: Unfortunately, this "bump" must be seen in order to provide any accurate advice. See a GYN MD soon.

Not sure of exact: Exact location? If this is lower on the labia - this could be a bartholin cyst and hence drainage will help.
