My wife and i have been trying to have a baby for two month now, however ever since we started having unprotected sex she is having irregular periods which makes it difficult for us since we are trying out for baby. please advise.

Ovulating?: Irregular periods can mean that ovulation isn't happening. Your wife should be evaluated by an Ob/Gyn to make sure she is ovulating and there are no other problems. If she is ovulating normally, pregnancy is likely sometime over the next year. Best wishes!

Be patient: Just enjoy each other. The cited average to a desired pregnancy is 6m with a range from weeks to a year. After a year you would both need to consider some fertility testing but that is down the road. Irregular cycles just mean she could ovulate any time. Enjoy each other & let it happen.
