Depends: It is not feasible to know without examining you and ascertaining the cause of the bruise. You may watch and wait. If the bruise heals in the next week or so, you may leave it alone. If it gets worse, or you develop bruises in other parts of the body, see a doctor.

No: need for worry...Trauma in that location may be unnoticed if the testes are not involved...Are you taking ASPIRIN????? The collection of veins in that structure may be "mistaken" for bruising.... Hope these thoughts are helpful! Dr Z
