Yes: While men do not like to admit pain as easily, it has been suggested through research that women have about nine times the pain threshold that men have. While everyone is different, women's increased pain tolerance is an evolutionary benefit. By being able to put up with child birth, harsh conditions (and men according to my wife), this has allowed for better survival for young. Hope this helps!
