Can sle (lupus) cause rapid gastric emptying? (diagnosed by gastric emptying study). i have both.

Not usually: Lupus erythematosus can cause a variety of gastrointestinal problems but rapid gastric emptying is not usually one of them. Check with your doctor to see if one of the medications being used to treat your lupus is causing the gastric emptying.
