UTI treatment: Not all antibiotics are effective against the many kinds of bacteria that cause urinary tract infection (UTI). The antibiotic chosen is often just an educated guess by the doctor (or, in your country, often a pharmacist). You probably need a different one. Best to see a doctor or clinic and have a urine culture to know exact cause and which antibiotics will work best. Good luck!
