My baby has diarrea. what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infant Diarrhea Care: Ensure your baby drinks plenty of fluids. If there is any vomiting, try an oral rehydration solution (such as Pedialyte). Do not give medications to stop the diarrhea. Watch for dehydration (not making tears when crying, eyes sunken, inside of mouth dry/sticky) and be seen if concerned for dehydration. Use plenty of diaper ointment to prevent diaper rash.
