Why wont people use walkers or canes when they need them, my neighbor holds on to my other neighbor instead of using them, id be glad to buy them one.

Denial: No one wants to look publicly disabled and using a walker or cane is an open admission of disability. Some some who could benefit from these aids will put them off as long as possible.
