A member asked:

For weeks i'm snoring and never had, have knots/spasm in scm on right neck, lightheaded and pain in right upper pec when swallowing cold drink. 35yo/m?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Swallowing: Chest discomfort when swallowing suggests some esophageal dysfunction. SCM spasms and snoring may be unrelated. If swallowing symptoms persist, a gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you. Chronic tension, stress or postural habits may play a role in the SCM spasms.
