Take pain medicine: Ice can cause skin injury if you do not cover it with paper or a plastic cover before applying to your skin. But you do not need to worry too much as it will heal by itself in a day or two. For now take a pain medicine like Tylenol(2 tablets at a time). if this relieves the pain you can repeat dose 6 hour intervals for 1-2 days. Then it should settle. You can also take Tylenol for headaches.
