Requires more info: To answer this question requires more information for an accurate answer. Talk to your present GYN MD who has all of your history and has examined you. If your periods are infrequent and you are not ovulating your GYM MD can find out why.

Short periods: At 30, if your periods are regular, start testing for ovulation (kits are available at most pharmacies). Ovulation occurs 14 days prior to the onset of a period. If positive, fertility is possible for 3-4 days after a positive test. If not pregnant in 6 months, ask for a referral to a gyn physician who can do a test to make sure your tubes are open (HSG test).
