Pls a patient is having chest tightness after given a shot of insulin. what could be the cause and what could be done to relieve this. ?

Chest tightness: I assume that the patient is an insulin dependent diabetic. If the blood sugar drops too low adrenalin can be released and cardiac discomfort could result if the patient has known or unrecognized coronary artery disease. This symptom should be reported to the patient's physician or if chest distress is ongoing the patient should be transported to the hospital emergency room for immediate evaluatio

Chest tightness: For chest tightness go to the ER. may be allergy to type of insulin ( try bendryl but still need to go to ER ) or since they are a diabetic they may be having heart issues or may be low blood sugar ( check the blood sugar wiht glucometer). Go to ER
