Jaundice ..: sounds like baby is 4 days old and yellow collor is symptoms of jaundice . In newborns is very common and dpendds how severe it is . It is measurable by baby blood bilirubin. Many factors can contribute to it. There is a " nomogram" or risk scale doctors folllow to determine a risk of brein damamge form bilirubin. If severe enough that baby require hospitalisation - it is safe place to be .
