Can i shorten my pill free week? can i start my new pack one day before i usually do? do i need to take extra protection if i do so?

BCP ?'s: If your "pill free week" means the week you are taking the "sugar pills" (placebos), it is actually much safer in terms of pregnancy avoidance to take the next pack of active pills starting on day # 5 of the placebo pills ( the last seven pills in the old pack). "Extra protection" is not required with this type of regimen.
