A member asked:

Headaches when my neck is straight but if bent forward the pain stops?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Headaches: Since neck posturing plays an important role in your headaches, I wonder if xrays of your cervical spine would reveal spurs in the vertebrae or whether there is abnormal neck curvature. Occasionally impingement of occipital nerves which exit the vertebrae posteriorly and travel up the back of the scalp and can cause headache. I would discuss this with your physician who may be willing to book xray
