Be specific: Be prepared to tell your doctor exactly which part of your thigh has this sensation (front, back, side, etc). as this helps us try to sort out WHICH nerve in the lower back may be involved (if truly it is a lower back nerve issue). Also - is there lower back pain? What makes it better or worse? Look up DERMATOMEs on the internet. thanks!
