OK to use both: Zn pyrithione is generally used as a shampoo, specifically for dandruff and seborrhea. Duac is an expensive branded combination of clindamycin with benzoyl peroxide. Generic benzoyl peroxide by itself is likely to provide the same result for much less money. If there is moderate to severe acne a more sophisticated approach will be in order.
