A member asked:

Can the ingredients dipotassium glycyrrhizate(licorice root) and zinc coceth sulfate interact with finasteride 1mg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor and at a 1 mg dose is primarily used in the medical management of male pattern hair loss (androgenic alopecia) and at a 5 mg dose used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms related to an enlarged prostate (BPH). I am both unaware of and would not expect any clinically significant interactions between finasteride and either licorice root or zinc sulfate.
