A member asked:

Can ovarian cysts cause intermittent abdominal pain, diarrhea and abdominal noises (gurgling/rumbling) ? i think they said mine was around 7x6x5

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian cysts: Simple ovarian cysts are not usually accompanied by other than occasional pain when ruptured. Complex ovarian cysts may be a result of a disease called endometriosis, which also includes implants of uterine lining (endometrium) scattered around the abdomen, involving also the large bowel. With ovulation or periods, bleeding occurs, which makes the colon contract, and diarrhea, pain results.
