Genital ulcer?: This sounds like it might be an open sore, i.e. genital ulcer. There are several causes. If you are sexually active, you should be tested for STDs, especially herpes and syphilis. There are non-STD possibilities as well. If you're near an NHS GUM clinic, that would be an excellent choice for expert, confidential evaluation. Good luck!
