A number of reasons: You need an "in person" examination!! EARLY appendicitis can "present" this way... (pain then moves to the "classic" right lower abdomen. If this appears to be happening....the EMERGENCY UNIT is a wise place to have that "in person" exam Hope this helps DR Z

Several causes: You could have a small hernia, infection (bacterial or Candida). Examination by a physician in standing position should make the diagnosis and plan treatment decisions.
