PMS: "burping": Intestinal inflammation can produce "burping", but if related specifically to "PMS", may be due to endometriosis, which causes inflammation in the intestines secondary to estrogen dropping prior to a menstrual event. This may be alleviated by starting on oral bcp's, since the levels of estrogen are much diminished, and endometriosis symptoms are as well.
