Cold urticaria?: There is an uncommon condition called cold urticaria (hives). Cool temperature, often with moisture -- for example, when water cools on the skin after a shower -- triggers the outbreak. Antihistamine drugs can be helpful in treatment. Discuss with your doctor; if s/he isn't very familiar with it, ask for referral to a dermatologist or immunology/allergy specialist. Good luck!
