Dime sized lesions: Excellent question. I would see a Dermatologist ASAP full history and exam. If lesions are on the palms of the hand or soles of the feet secondary syphilis should be ruled out/other causes.If the lesions are the size of a dime erythema multiforme may be a more likely diagnosis. However, in person exam with lab testing important. SLE/Lupus variants are diagnosed w lab tests, valid SLICC criteria
