Twitches: The causes for twitching are numerous. You should have a consult with a neurologist to ascertain the cause, if possible. It can be ticks, tourette's syndrome, Migrainous, seizures (unlikely if no loss of consciousness). It sounds benign but sudden and should be checked out in personal exam by neurologist.
