Cellulitis?: This sounds like you might have cellulitis, i.e. skin infection of the foot. it could be serious and might need an antibiotic prescription, so see a doctor soon. If you have fever or if redness starts spreading rapidly up the leg, get seen immediately, even if it means visiting an urgent care clinic or emergency room in the middle of the night. Good luck!
