Cough/tonsillitis: The cough is probably unrelated to your tonsillitis. Was the tonsillitis evaluated and treated? Any worsening of symptoms, new fever/chills, should be evaluated. If you are feeling better, but have a slight cough, take mucinex DM if not pregnant, you can also add ibuprofen three times a day for symptomatic relief and stay hydrated if you have no problems with bleeding/ulcer/gerd.
