Is it safe to prescribe low dose birth control , for treament of endometriosis & fibroids for 48 yo w/occassional hypertension, & frequent tachycardia?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Elizabeth Reynoso
16 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Probably: Most likely a low dose birth control is safe unless there is any thing else in the history not mentioned. It is very important to trust your healthcare provider. We do not want to prescribe medication that is not safe. If you have questions regarding their recommendations, speak with them. If you don't feel comfortable with their care or answers, maybe look for someone who you trust
