Ablation: Endometrial ablation does not completely burn all of the endometrial lining and so it is very common for menses still to occur or be lighter after having it. It is also common for menses to come back regularly after 5-10 years. Yes you can get pregnant because Endometrial ablation is NOT a form of birth control and should never be used on its own for birth control.
