Maybe not ovary pain: The ovaries sit in the pelvis next to the uterus, intestines and bladder. It is very common for pain from one of the adjoining organs to be the culprit of pain that women attribute to their ovaries unless there is a large cyst or other issue with the ovaries. If someone is having pain in their pelvis, they should be evaluated by an obgyn with an ultrasound to evaluate what the cause could be.
