A member asked:

Ovarian cyst 25mm can it cause aching legs and pain on the opposite ovary, also is it normal to have periods every 14 days or less at 47?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Something else: It would be uncommon for a cyst 25mm to cause pain. If the pain was associated with endometriosis, then yes, this could be of a piece causing pain, but cysts that size are too small to cause pain in and of themselves. Not normal to have periods that frequent at 47. Could be breakthrough bleeding, but need biopsy at 47 to make sure it's not pre-cancer or cancer. See your gynecologist soon.
