Hair follicles: Unfortunately, without being able to see what you are asking about it is impossible to tell you what is going on. Women normally have hair follicles on their breasts and all over their bodies and some times they are more prominent on the breast. Why would I get a lump on breast below areola? Pea size lump, painful, red. Dr gave Keflex and said hair follicle infection. Below hair area. Keflex seems to be working. Less swollen and red. Hair follicle? Do I need any other exam if it clears up?
