To early to have sex: It is not recommended to have sex for at least 2-4 weeks (depending on your doctor's recommendation) after tubes are tied due to risk of pain, infection, and internal bleeding among other things. If someone does have sex a wk after tubes tied it would be expected to be painful as there was just surgery on this area. If pain continues that person should see their surgeon ASAP and stop having sex
