Variation: It is normal to have some variation in the menstrual cycle. A two day variation does not seem to be a cause for concern. Menstrual color reflects how long it has been in the vagina as blood undergoes oxidation. It is not typically useful to monitor menstrual blood color. Consider monitoring your cycles for the next few months. If not satisfied you can change birth control methods
