Hi doctor. i am currently 6 weeks pregnant. i am experiencing a sore neck. with listeria on the loose i am concerned. i only have a blocked nose in the mornings, no other flu like symptoms? is it normal to have a sore neck?

Probably normal: typically with listeria you start with fevers, nausea, diarrhea and then eventually progresses to sore neck and headaches. More than likely a sore neck alone is nothing to do with listeria and more to do with muscle aches and pains. However it would be a good idea to see your OB provider if you are very worried.
