Heartburn: You may try OTC ranitidine which is safe during pregnancy. If this does not help, consult a GI specialist.

Heartburn: You may consider the cheapest over-the-counter drug with any of the following active ingredients: famotidine, ranitidine, or lansoprazole (all are considered safe in pregnancy). Famotidine or ranitidine may be better to try 1st. Lansoprazole is the most potent but may be hard to get off of later if you want to stop taking it. Let your doctor know if your acid lasts longer than 2 weeks on the drug.
