Nope: just have the urinalysis repeated....request a "clean voided" specimen to eliminate outside "contamination" Just a thought Hope it helps! Dr Z

My dip stick urine test showed trace of blood. It was sent to lab and it came back flagged bacteria (few), blood (small), mucous (moderate), leukocytes esterase Neg, nitrate neg, PH 5, protein neg, wbcs, urobilinogen all normal. Should I be worried?
My doctor discuss urine test indicated everything normal, but protein shows trace and blood is non-hemolyzed. He is not worried. Do I go specialist?
