Maybe: Do you have stones in the gallbladder or bile ducts as well? They gave you an injection during the HIDA scan, did that set off the pain? If so that's a pretty good indication that the gallbladder is the cause of any pain, and it should be removed. If your pain did not increase further testing should be done, EGD, CT scan, bloodworm, possibly a laparoscopy.
