Insist on gentleness: I am guessing the rough stuff was from your partner. Anal play can be satisfying but requires mutual respect. Your lesions will heal, but keep yourself especially clean with liquid soaps and be gentle with the toilet paper until you heal. The rectum has no natural lubricants: you must supply them.
