GI bleed: Blood in the stool could be from a hemorrhoid, lower GI tract bleeding, food appearing to be blood or red in color. See a Doctor for a occult blood fecal test to document that it is blood. Then the work up will entail a look into the rectum to see if their is a hemohoid, tumor, skin lesion or other visible cause of the bleeding.
