A member asked:

Does high hemoglobin cause high blood pressure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but...: If a man's hemoglobin is more than 17.5 or thereabouts, it's worth trying to find the cause. Extremely viscous blood (igm, extremely polythemia) may require extra pressure to pump, but in such situations the problem is obvious.
