Nice to ask for...: It is nice of you to ask this Q for your father. As to stones inside both kidneys, their care has 2 steps: 1st, to remove stones or not and how, this depends on related symptoms, size, location, etc.; 2nd, how to prevent stone recurrence after stone work-up.
