Maybe/not: Most studies recognize three potential outcomes for kids who are/were on Ritalin or similar drugs for focus disorders. About a 3rd grow out of the need, a 3rd quit using it because of side effects or other issues, & a 3rd continue to have focus problems as an adult that respond to treatment. A new evaluation by someone with adult treatment experience may help you decide.
