A member asked:

Good evening. i have cramps all over my stomach and i have nausea. what could this possibly be the pain is really severe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen, especially with symptoms that occur after eating, can be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease. "Really severe" pain can mean going to the Emergency Room.
