A member asked:

Hi im a diabetic hypertensive person and my question is what are the risk of drinking an expired dutchmill delight product that is like a yakult here?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on details: "Expired" can mean it has been properly refrigerated and happens to be 2 days past its date stamp, or "expired" can mean it has been in the glove compartment of the car for 6 months. Also, a product's processing matters, because some products are heated or irradiated to the point of not having any living microbes or spores inside anymore, and are thus safer in the long term.
