"Skipped periods": Skipped periods are usually related to failure of ovulation, which allows the lining of the womb (uterus) to enlarge and degenerate in places due to overstimulation. Having sex then causes strong uterine contractions which can result in blood being expressed into the vagina, and appearing as related in timing to the sexual activity. See your gyn provider for an exam and testing.
