How can an adult go about getting assessed for asperger's?

Dr. Lisa Rankin answered

Specializes in ADHD and Autism

Start with primary: Unlike children in which the primary may be comfortable and able to do screenings and make the diagnosis adults will usually be diagnosed by a psychiatrist or neurologist. Your primary will be helpful in pointing you in the direction of a specialist who can assist. You can also contact your closest center for autism and related disorders ( card) to get a referral.
