Vitamin D: recommend: 600-1000 IU daily from food and supplement sources for the healthy child. If mild deficiency then 1000-2000 IU daily for 2-3 months depending upon the degree of deficiency based on Vit D levels. Maintain 1000 IU daily following stabilization of Vitamin D levels. The prescriber will individualize treatment for the child's specific needs. Best regards for good health.
