Yes to testing: I do not know how it came to be that she was tested and the problem discovered. If she has been fine for 4 years and this is a recent discovery, then it is wise to have you all tested. Your best info will come from a hematologist.

Factor VII deficient: There is some variability with factor vii deficiency. A patient can change as she grows (either becoming mild or more severe). Factor vii deficiency is autosomal recessive which means most likely both you and husband carry one abnormal gene and one normal (and are unaffected). Your other children have 25% of having the disease. Get them tested; you and husband probably do not need to be tested.
