Hernia: You should be checked for an inguinal (groin) hernia. If a hernia is found, the best treatment is surgery. Without surgery it will get worse over time. Good luck!

Pain: If you hav e no palpable lumps then it is probably myofascial and will respond to hot moist compresses and an anti inflammatory such as Aleeve or Ibuprofen.Good Luck

Never ignore: chronic groin pain. You must be examined and tested. You may need a scrotal or testicular ultrasound. Get examined asap.
